Dr. Kenneth Jones
Dr. Jones was raised with animals from infancy. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science and receiving his Veterinary medical degree from UC Davis in 1973, he has been practicing continually for 51 years. After an internship at California Animal Hospital, Dr. Jones owned and operated his animal rights hospital for 42 years. During that time he worked with several feral cat spay and neuter programs, as well as working closely with the Santa Monica Animal Shelter for 38 years. Previously maintaining veterinary licenses in 6 states, Dr. Jones is currently licensed in Hawaii and California. He has been published in Veterinary journals and has an interest in exotics, particularly opossums.
When not attending to his patients, Dr. Jones enjoys exercising and CrossFit, and has toured the western US, Alaska, Canada, and Europe with motorcycle groups. He plays classical piano and is a former member of the Santa Monica College orchestra. He currently resides in the Los Angeles area with his wife of 44 years and their rescue pets.
